Fathers and Children Together (FACT) is a FREE evening program for dads and their kids held at the Alburgh Library every Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m

It is a FREE opportunity for dads to meet and talk with older mentor dads, discuss their concerns, and have their questions answered by men who have “been around the block” a few times.

“Fathers are the single greatest untapped resources in the lives of American Children…”

-Kyle Pruett, MD, Yale Medical School

Call Eric Astleford (aka Mr. A) at 796-6077 or 796-3167 for more details

ILLEGAL TRASH BURNING

The North Hero/Grand Isle Rescue Squad Auxiliary
Rescue Squad Auxiliary
Although the Rescue Squad serves both North Hero and Grand Isle, support for the rescue squad comes mainly from Grand Isle.   In tax money, 60% of support comes from Grand Isle while 40% comes from North Hero.  Eva Rose is the only North Hero resident on the Auxiliary.   North Hero folks can help in two ways: join the Auxiliary or organize a once a year fundraiser.  If you can help in either of these ways, please call me (Barbara) at 372-4606.

The property tax payment schedule approved by the voters on March 7th has changed from three to four installments due on August 20, October 20, December 20 and February 20.

Water fees: Payments are now due on 7/20, 9/20, 11/20 and 3/20.
