June 18th – Last day of school – 11:30 dismissal, 6:30 Commencement ceremony
Please come for our planning meeting for next year…We will be discussing our hopes and dreams for this committee!!

School Field trip – June 13
We will be taking a boat ride around the island with the historical committee and discussing island history. We do not have any additional room on the boat for parents. However, if you would like to join us for the picnic come over to Knight’s point at about 11:30. If you would like a lunch, please contact the office and we will get that set up!
5th Grade parents:
Please send your surveys back to school so we can plan the trip or activity for next year.
Summer Community Library Hours – Tuesday 2:00 to 7:00, Thursday 10:00 to 3:00 and Saturday 9:00 to 1:00
Start of school for fall 2008 will be August 27! Mark you calendars!

Dear 6th Grade Parents,
Wow, I can't believe how fast this year has gone! It is already time to start making plans for Camp Abnaki. There is a little information that I will need from you.
First, I will need to know which days your child will need to have a lunch packed from our kitchen. The Abbey can provide a sack lunch with a turkey or ham sandwich, fruit, chips and chocolate or white milk. Please let us know what days you will need lunch. Also what the choices will be.
Second, the camp bus will be picking the children up at school at 8:45 in the morning. It will be dropping the children back at school at approximately 3:45. This is a change from last year so please have a plan to get your children home. There is an option for them to stay at the after-school program until 6:00 for $5 an hour. Please let us know if you would like to do this.
