SUMMER EVENTS A Screening of "The Pirates of Penzance" on August 19 at 7 pm A Screening of "The Mikado" on September 16 at 7 pm FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY The Friends of the Library needs a few new good friends. If you would like to volunteer, call Judy at the library at 372-5458. The plant sale is the Friends of the Library main fundraiser. Each year the funds raised are donated to Library improvements. The computer desks, the outside lights, the children’s room furniture, and other improvements have been made using Friends contributions. The Friends of the Library also contribute to the summer book discussion programs. |
North Hero Public Library GENERAL INFORMATION We are a full service library with over 5,000 books, audio books and videos for both adults and children. Our separate children's room is warm and kid-friendly. There are 3 public computers with Wi-Fi available inside and outside 24/7. A fourth computer is for our children, loaded with interactive stories such as Stella Luna and Cat in the Hat. There is a dry basement full of secondhand books for sale. Most books cost $1.00 or less. |
